We would like to extend a big thanks to everyone who attended the 2022 InVita Users Conference in Nashville! This was our largest event by far, and we’ve received amazing feedback from attendees. It was great to see so many people, sharing meaningful questions and insights. We’re excited to continue growing this conference and bringing people together to advance our industry. Here's a recap of this year's conference:
In a much-anticipated session, InVita President & CEO, Todd Collins, answered questions on how through acquisition, InVita will leverage all information flowing within our enhanced product ecosystem to create some exciting new opportunities for the industry.
InVita COO, Simon Dawson shared news of how adding BloodHub to the InVita team will benefit the industry and pave the way for more integration opportunities.
Ask yourself, what kind of experience will drive results? – Kerry Bodine
Our keynote presenter was Kerry Bodine, the co-author of Outside In: The Power of Putting Customers at the Center of Your Business, and the CEO of Bodine & Co., a customer experience consulting firm. Her ideas, analysis, and expert opinions on enhancing the donor experience provoked blood center leaders to think and work in more customer-centric ways. With a focus on innovation and identifying solutions and problem spaces, this session offered attendees a glimpse of what the blood industry could look like after intentional orchestration and implementation of better customer experiences.
Bonnie Powell, Manufacturing Software Specialist with Vitalant and Kevin Shipley, Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center’s Director of Donor Recruitment shared their first-hand experiences of moving from Hemasphere onto HemaCollect and how their organizations have benefited from this change in technology.
Attendees were given opportunities to attend breakout sessions where InVita’s in-house subject matter experts discussed InVita’s decisions to invest in infrastructure and hosting as well as plans for the future of HemaControl, including integration with BloodHub.
InVita’s newest session – inspired by the popular reality TV show – featured a panel of industry leaders who welcomed ideas for future products and modules. A cunning team of sharks chose the best pitch, winning InVita’s full investment!
InVita’s Jessie Reyes, Software Specialist–Team Lead, detailed InVita’s focus on a future rich in new features and continuous investment, including our new HemaCollect Staff App.
Led by James Latimer, Director of Systems Integration, South Texas Blood & Tissue, this session provided attendees with an insider's look at how InVita’s suite of fully integrated products has helped support collection and fulfillment efforts, and guide its operational objectives.
Finishing the conference on day two were concurrent morning Roadmap Sessions across InVita’s entire blood product suite. In each of these sessions, attendees were empowered to learn about, help prioritize, and vote on the top features requested by attendees for InVita products.
BloodHub Senior Director, Susanne Logan, discussed BloodRelay’s role in paperless and automated IRL workflows, including patient and sample management, testing, and reporting.
Terrific weather, food, music and drinks were the perfect ending to each day! Among the festivities was a lively night at Luke’s 32 Bridge on Broadway St. Enjoy the photos of some of the party goers!
