Essex Walks

Our simple to use GPS-enabled digital guide covers over 200 amazing walks of between 1 and 12 miles throughout Essex and the surrounding areas. Walks include diverse woodland, peaceful riverside, coastal adventures full of nature, open countryside and city parks.

Detailed maps that track your progress are available offline - no internet signal required. The maps include contour detail that helps you to evaluate the difficulty of the walk before you set off.

Filter by woodland, waterside, hill walk and pub walk to easily find the walk that's perfect for your mood.

After each walk, you can fill in the quick questionnaire in the app to feed back valuable information about the walk. We will then use this data to improve the app's walks over time and some of your comments could be published against each walk.
