HubSpot integrations can vary hugely in price. This is because the scope of the integration determines the cost. A complex integration could cost £35,000 or a simple one could come in at £5,000.

The vast majority of integrations that SpotDev's team works on cost between £7,500 and £20,000. 

You'll also need to budget for cloud computing costs, which will be a recurring cost based on how much data you're transferring. Expect to pay at least £80 per month for middleware.

The type and location of integration hosting will depend on the solution we design for you. 

If a native HubSpot integration is the best solution, then this will be hosted on HubSpot's cloud infrastructure (in the same location as your HubSpot data centre). 

If we build a solution on Zapier or Make, then your integration will be hosted on their architecture. 

If we are custom-coding your integration, then we have a lot of choice available to us. We could build the integration on your existing infrastructure, we could build dedicated infrastructure, or we could build your solution on SpotDev's own platform. 

In short, the type and location of your integration hosting will depend on the best solution for your business. 

An integration can break for a variety of reasons. If one of the tools changes its API, a user mis-configures a setting, you cancel your middleware subscription, or the codebase becomes outdated, you could find yourself needing to repair your integration. 

This is a reasonable expectation of owning a technical solution. 

Fortunately, SpotDev offers a 30-day breakfix warranty that ensures unexpected hiccups post-launch will be resolved quickly. 

You can extend this warranty by purchasing a maintenance service (starting at £150 per month), which will ensure that SpotDev's team proactively monitors for potential breaks and deploys fixes as necessary. Note that this maintenance coverage is for existing functionality. New functionality will require a new project. 

Generally speaking, there are two types of HubSpot integration: 

  • data synchronisation
  • action-based. 

A data synchronisation ensures that records are mirrored between two systems. If you add a new contact in HubSpot, then it will show in the integrated system (and vice versa). Updates to a record are copied into the integrated system. 

An action-based integration is one where an event in one system causes an event in the other. For example, a deal in HubSpot being marked as 'Closed Won' causes an invoice to be created in your accountancy software.
